Missionary Retreat Center Project

M
ission To Missionaries' retreat center will serve as a haven of rest for missionaries from around the world.  The center will be built on 130 acres of land the Lord has provided near the town of Crossville in East Tennessee.

Mission Possible Capital Campaign

With nearly $200,000 already invested into land and preliminary improvements, we are now focusing our efforts on building the quality missionary retreat center which the Lord has given us the vision to build. The first phase of the project is now called “The First Hundred” because it will provide the facilities to welcome up to 100 missionary families a year. This phase will include the construction of three missionary guest homes, a welcome building, and numerous land improvements throughout our property.

Funds are being sought to build the retreat center through the Mission Possible capital campaign. Through donations and CD sales, our goal for the campaign is to raise $300,000 over five years. This represents 60% of the expected $500,000 needed to complete the first phase of the project, with the remaining 40% coming from grants and time-share sales. We know that for God all things are possible (Matt. 19:26) and believe that the Lord will provide the funds to build this quality retreat center for His servants.

Participation in Mission Possible can be realized by making a one-time donation or by committing to regular monthly support. This can be accomplished by filling out the Mission Possible Form, or by emailing us to request a copy of the Mission Possible commitment card.  In addition to checks and bank drafts, we now accept credit cards (Visa and MasterCard).  All donations to Mission To Missionaries are tax-deductible.

Do Missionaries need a retreat center?

“I believe the concept of a ministry to those who have given their lives in ministry is not only Biblical, but very practical in this day when changes at work buffet those who serve our Lord. I know God will use this ministry to build His Kingdom!”

Dr. Ron Cline, Board Chairman
HCJB World Radio

How will the retreat center work?

Our basic business model revolves around a timeshare system in which churches will be invited to invest in the construction of a missionary guest home in exchange for sending their missionaries to the retreat center.  This will make it possible for missionaries to stay at our retreat center at no cost to them. For those missionaries not affiliated with a sponsoring church, scholarships will be available to cover their stay.

How can I become involved?

Fundraising for the missionary retreat center is being sought as part of our Mission Possible campaign.  Through donations, grants, time-share sales to churches, and other fundraising projects, we believe the Lord will provide the funds to build this quality retreat center for His servants.  We believe that for God all things are possible (Matt. 19:26)!.

Our first phase of development is called "The First Hundred" because it will provide the facilities to welcome and minister to one hundred missionary families per year.

If you would like to contribute to Mission Possible, please fill out our secure form here or email us to request more information.

Donations to Mission To Missionaries are tax-deductible and receipts are sent out at the end of each year.

How will missionaries benefit?

Mission To Missionaries’ retreat center will provide an ideal environment for missionaries to rest. From the missionary guest cabins to the beautiful surroundings, everything will be done to ensure that missionaries have every opportunity to benefit from the rest they deserve. Our prayer is that missionaries will feel refreshed and renewed after their stay at the retreat center and that they will consequently be more enabled to serve God as they return to their fields of service.
